During the month of August, we took one last trip before school started and headed to Lake Powell for the weekend. We went with our St. George cousins and all managed to squeeze into Dana and Todd's house--with a couple people even sleeping outside. We enjoyed time at the lake boating, fishing, snacking, making sandcastles and creating weapons out of sticks.
This month Ryan became a little obsessed with dressing up and creating some interesting costumes. His favorite is a pirate and both boys decided that's what they wanted to be for Halloween. Then Ryan discovered Jack's old cowboy costume and now he's dead-set on that once we find him a "new hat and a horse to ride."
Not a bad way to end the summer. Now we're excited for fall, cooler weather, and only a few more weeks until we bring home baby brother!
