*At the beginning of the month, Ryan had his first trip to the dentist. I didn't tell him we were going until we were in the car because he was not thrilled when I tried to prep him at Jack's visit earlier in the year. He did great though and loved the glasses he got to wear during the cleaning. And I loved that his teeth are healthy.
*We blessed Nash the first Sunday in December and had our family over afterwards for brunch. His cousin Asha wrote him a sweet letter about all the things he has to look forward to in life and that it "all begins with today!"
*I wasn't the most exciting mom during the holidays while still adjusting to life with a baby who doesn't nap, but the older two didn't seem to notice that we skipped out on some of our usual activities before Christmas. We did get a gingerbread house halfway decorated and had a fun Christmas Eve with our family here in town--complete with new PJs to open that night.
*Christmas morning was a lot of fun even though we did things a little different. We woke the boys up at 7:00 so they could see what Santa brought and play some before we headed to church. After that, JP had to open the hotel and it was 11:00 before we started opening presents. It worked out fine this year, but we probably can't get away with making the boys wait so long as they get older.
*We saw our first snow of the season (and not much of it) when we spent New Year's Eve at the Dixie cabin in Pine Valley. It was our first get-away since Nash was born and he did pretty good and even slept through all the noise at midnight. Here's to a new year hopefully as great as the last!
