Last Sunday we left bright and early for California on a family vacation to Disneyland. Jack did not fall back to sleep in the car like we'd hoped, but he was a good traveler and we made good time. We met JP's cousin and his cute family in the park that afternoon and had fun on a few rides even though it was raining. This picture pretty much sums up Jack's first day in the park and he wasn't a fan of any rides that involved the dark (and that did not change the rest of the week)!
By far Jack's favorite ride was the carousel in Fantasyland. He rode it a couple times every day. Next to that he loved Toon Town where he could climb all over and play...pausing occasionally for a drink.

We did have some time to enjoy more than just kid rides and we had fun hanging out with all our family who also made the trip. We'll have to do it again in a few years!

Shelly - I wish we knew that you were coming to California ... we would totally have met up with you. Funny thing is that Beki and her family went to Disneyland on Monday and so they were there the same time that you were!!!
That is funny. Next time we'll be sure to tell you so we can meet up!
Shelly: How did Jack do? We are going in April. What are the must sees for a two year old?
